Do I need a PayPal Account to use PayPal as a Payment Gateway?

Short Answer: Nope.

Simply select the Checkout with PayPal payment method during the checkout process.
Then select the I don't have a PayPal Account option when you are forwarded to the PayPal payment site.
This will enable you to enter your credit or debit card information without having to create a PayPal account.

Login to the client area.

Locate the link labeled "Update your details".

Under the "My Details" tab, update your billing/contact information.

Click the "Save Changes" button.

We never charge any client, nor do we store any credit card information or other similar data. All payments have to be initiated by the client.
When cancelling your service with us please make sure you cancel any recurring Paypal subscriptions you have with set up with Paypal or else we will be automatically paid again even though you no longer have a service with us.
You will receive a welcome email as soon as your order is deployed to you.
Please have in mind that you may need to keep on eye on your "Junk Mail" as the welcome email contains active hyperlinks.

If you for some reason don't receive any information within a reasonable time, please contact our Support Department and we will at the earliest convenience sort this for you.
How do I pay for my service?

I have an invoice, how do I know what it's for?

The first thing you'll notice when you have an invoice it will appear as a red 1 next to Billing at the top of the page.

You can click on Billing and go to My Invoices

Then you should be able to click on View Invoice to have a look at a what the invoice is for.

This should show you an invoice like this:

You now have two options for initial payment, Subscribe with PayPal and Checkout with PayPal both of which do different things.

- Requires PayPal Account, creates subscription (Depending on billing cycle) if you are on a monthly
billing cycle this will automatically (If Funds Available) send payment for your server each month, if on a Quarterly cycle, it will send it every
3 months etc.

- Does not require PayPal Account although you can pay with PayPal if you want to login. This is the option
you can use if you want to use your Debit/Credit/Visa etc card without logging in or creating a PayPal account. Clicking this option
will give you the ability to enter your card info or login to PayPal at the next stage to complete purchase. This does not create a subscription,
so you need to make sure you keep an eye out for invoice emails (We will send several reminders if you're overdue). Alternatively you can
add Credit Balance to your account.

What is Credit Balance and What is it used for?
Credit Balance is a virtual currency attached to your ViLayer client account. This is automatically used to pay for invoices as soon as they're generated
if an invoice for your $10USD server is going to be created tomorrow, if you add $10USD to your Credit Balance today, it will be gone tomorrow and
the invoice will be marked paid.

Any overcharges are applied to your Credit Balance. I.e. Your server is $30USD and you pay $50USD your server will be paid for and you will have a $20USD
Credit Balance.

How do I add Credit Balance?

At the top of the page you will see

In the red boxes these 2 links will take you to the Add Funds page.
The minimum and maximum amounts you're able to add are listed on that page.

Enter the amount you wish to add and click Add Funds
Once you've done that you will receive an invoice for the amount you entered. Then make payment
for this invoice the same way you pay for services. I'd suggest with regular PayPal and not a subscription.
Once the invoice has been paid, you will see that you have Credit Balance at the top of the page.

How to setup Automated Payments

Don't want to worry about having to pay for your server each month, or worry about server suspention due to overdue invoices?
Well that's fine because we can help you setup automatic methods of payment.

Method 1 - Credit Balance

If you have Credit Balance and an invoice is generated for your server, it will be instantly paid for by the credit balance
aslong as the credit balance covers the cost.

Credit Balance is a nice way to Pay Early because you know the server's invoice will be covered by the amount in your Credit Balance.
If you have a $10.00 server, and add $10.00 to your
Credit Balance 2 weeks before the invoice is generated, then at the end of the
month you'll have $0.00 Credit Balance and the server will be paid for.

How do I add Credit Balance?

At the top of the page you will see

In the red boxes these 2 links will take you to the Add Funds page.
The minimum and maximum amounts you're able to add are listed on that page.
You can deposit multiple times, the maximum is per deposit.

Note: Credit Balance is non-Refundable.

Method 2 - PayPal Subscription (Requires PayPal Account)

This is a very simple method, when an invoice is generated you are presented with 3 ways of paying it, Credit Balance,
Check out with PayPal and Subscribe with PayPal.
Click Subscribe with PayPal and make your payment. Now, PayPal
will send ViLayer these funds each time your server needs paying.

Note: If you cancel your service with ViLayer, you need to manually cancel this subscription in your PayPal account.
